So yesterday, without really planning to, I ate the way I used to. By 7:30 pm, I felt awful. Tired, heavy, sluggish. Blah! I was exhausted by 10:00 and went to bed early. Today, I MUST do better! (Certainly couldn't do worse!)
Just as well I called it an early night, today's threatening to be a helacious day. I'll read with my 2nd grade buddy Ryan this morning, then home to tackle Mt. Laundry. Load in the washer, load in the dryer (clothesline? will the rain hold off?) Then trot up to the market to get some lavender to bake into shortbread cookies for this afternoon's Mother Daughter Tea. Tea's at 4:00, but being on the SAP team (we're hosting), I need to be there early to set up. Simon needs to be at Taekwondo at 4 as well, and picked up at 5. The tea's over at 5, and 15 minutes away from the taekwondo studio. Tori's coming to the tea with me, and she needs to be at her friend's house by 5:30 for a ride to Girl Scouts. Scott's got meetings at 3, 4 and 5, so he's not available to help, at all.
Thank god for the crock pot, that's all I can say.
