There are not words

Well, there probably ARE words to describe how I feel about this quilt-to-be, but I'm not sure what those words are, mostly because I'm not sure what I actually do feel about it. Guess I'll keep going. I am pretty sure I've never made a grey quilt before. Maybe that's the problem.

I like the gray with the other colors....and it is very 'male'

I like the minimalistic look of it, it's actually kind of calming. He'll love it...but beware, you'll likely just get a "that's cool", yet he'll cherish it forever. They're funny that way.

I don't actually expect to get anything from him. I'll drop over, actually, if he even acknowledges receiving it. This is the latest in my continuing "Christmas-after-you-turn-16, now-you're-a-grown-up, and-no-more-presents-for-you" series. So far, of the 5 niece/nephew quilts I've done, I've received ONE thank you. Good thing I'm not doing it for the glory, huh?

That is one cool quilt so far! What pattern are you using? Looks like something I'd wanna try...

No pattern. It's another of those damn it's-in-my-head, now-I-have-to-make-it quilts. Trust me, you don't want to go up there - lots of cobwebs and spiders.

It's pretty simple, actually - a QST block with a light opposite a dark, 2 mediums on the sides, then the drop shadow, then the background.
