tanked

Since I have discovered that Knits and Bolts has more of the Saucy Sport in this dye lot, I decided to try my needles at a tank top. 4" of Fern Lace at the bottom instead of 2" of ribbing. The body is a kind of a seeded rib - K3 P1 on the right side, perl all the way across on the way back - does it have a real name? Dunno. The pattern is more or less this one, though it may change more as I knit further.

I got an email from Tante Kitty this morning, too.

"It is very nice,that you will knitting for me.It makes me happy.
You asked the colour I will have.
The dark red wich you makes for your mom, likes me very good.
I can it used by brown and grey and bleu.
Dark green can also.it is both vrey well."

Tante Kitty doesn't speak a whole lot of English - my Dutch is WAY worse! So mom got the message mostly right, she does like dark green, but the red will work if I can't get the green right. Good to have a backup plan.
