So... remember a few days ago when I confessed I can't count? Proof! Let's say picture #1 is BEFORE and #2 is AFTER. AFTER putting away the fabric, the rotary cutter and mat, AFTER, in fact, putting away the sewing machine, the iron and the ironing board, and AFTER laying everything out I discover that I cannot, for real, count to 63.
So all the blocks for Nappy's quilt are sewn. I'm going to assemble chunks of 4 blocks (with some 2 block chunks for the edges), iron on some more freezer paper and put these aside for September. Wow, that makes, dare I say it, HALF of my list done. (' course it was the EASY half...)
This little project used up some scraps. Not many, but some. I think I could make baby quilts for the entire graduating class of 2024 and barely notice the dent in my "collection."

Yes, #2 certainly looks a lot better with that bottom piece in there. I love this quilt with the unpredictable stripes and lines. It's very lively. Well done~ congrats.
Beautiful scrappy!!!!!!Giving me ideas....
I think you really did count right, it's just that those darn gremlins came and snatched one!!! The quilt is looking good!!!
