A tisket, a tasket

I think I like this basket! Yeah!! I'll make all 4 baskets the same colour, change out the colours, size and placement of the roses and leaves. I'm going to try to tie some of the colours from the other rows. This quilt needs a little continuity, and since, after me, there's only one more stop, well, no time like the present. The caramel basket is a good match for Karen's trellis, though it's not the same fabric, and that plum rose is the same shade as the darkest part of her roses. She's got a good eye for colour, why not let her do the work? ;o) Here we go, with the bones of my row at the bottom. I like the leaves, and I have a bunch more of that same mossy green - it's actually a leaf print, I can use the veining to effect when I cut more.

Me too! I've got all 4 baskets pieced, but not setting triangles yet, and no applique. I'll lay things out again and take a pic - I see things differently in a picture than in real life, and the great big **issues** I don't notice on the floor become HUGE in the picture. I'll post one in a bit.

Now I see a real progression from spring, summer, fall and winter, roses all thru the year...which I believe was Anna's idea originally.Curious to see the last addition after yours tho!

Nice baskets! I like that seasonal idea, too.
