Just call me butter

'cause I'm on a roll!

Yesterday I did get those "last" 4 string blocks done, and started the butterflies, too. Leah posted a link a few days back to Judy's Sew for An Hour project. Not one to do what I'm told, I thought I'd grab that idea and just do *my* stuff for an hour a day. 6 or 7 hours of sewing a week? Somebody stop me!

Yesterday's Accomplishments:
Duncan's quilt - binding cut
Amanda's quilt - label made
Joy's Row Robin - (for Denise) 6 blocks cut, 3 butterfly bottoms blanket stitched on
String quilt - 4 blocks made (for a total of 144)

Today's Goals:
Duncan's quilt - binding attached
Joy's Row Robin - (for Denise) remaining 3 butterfly bottoms blanket stitched on
String quilt - 6 blocks, assemble two 4-block chunks

That'll take me more than an hour, so I suspect I won't get it all done. No biggy, I'l carry it over to tomorrow.

Tori's got to go to the ortho again (lost that bracket again) and I need a new packet of needles before I do much more on those butterflies. I'm using this lovely rayon thread for the blanket stitching and it's starting to shred when the needle goes back over it. Guess I better get this day started. ::yawn:: The vacuum cleaner awaits!

Oh, and I've started FitDay again.

Yeah, well, no actually, there've been others before this precious creature. Buh-bye, Ken, into the trash with you. I have all the money in the world. Why on earth would I take the opportunities away from all the little people? ;o)

Was going to do the hour thang too, but I looked at the stash and admitted that I already have too many other irons in the fire. So I think I'll adopt your idea of using that hour in my own creative way, getting some of my things OFF THE TO-DO LIST!

I had a funny laugh when you mentioned butterfly bottoms. I had just changed a diaper, so my mind was in that place. But, it was a good laugh...

I am going to try to get two bindings cut and stitched on ready for hand stitching today. May not happen, but it may. Thanks for the laugh and inspiration.

I was wondering if Beth ever read your post.
