If I walk about 1/8 mile southish from my front door, up the driveway to Main Street, this is what I see. Typical New England farm house, now in town though I imagine it was farmland here when it was built in the early 1800s.
And if I walk about 1/8 mile the other way, northwards more or less, I approach the official "City Limits" of our teeny tiny town here, by our brook. I'm plopped happily between town and country. Lucky me!
