Majority Leader William Frist,
Majority Whip Mitch McConnell,
Gentlemen,
With regard to S. 757, please, for the love of every woman you know, every mother, every daughter, every sister, aunt, grandmother and granddaughter, bring this Bill to a vote. Senator Tom Coburn's (R-OK) hold on this bill may as well be his signature on the death warrant of thousands of American women. There is widespread support for this bill, both in the Senate and in the population at large. 99 senators have agreed to vote to pass this bill, Senator Coburn has said no.
3 million women in the US live with breast cancer. 40,000 die annually. If, as Sen. Coburn's staff assert, "we are already spending enough money on breast cancer," why don't those numbers go down?
Please. It is within your power to make this vote happen.

Frist is from right here in Nashville, and I just can't stand him. Did you know he never registered to vote until he was 35 years old? What a coincidence it was just before he decided to make a career in politics.
And I had to suffer through a speech by Mitch McConnell when my DD graduated from a conservative CA law school (she went there because they accepted her!).
I'm so weary of being a Blue living in a Red state. Maybe the tide will turn. I applaud your resolve.
Dorothy, thank you for bringing this to my attention.
Those berries look like black olives! Why haven't the birds eaten them already?
This research could be very important, if funded well and done correctly. Thank you for bringing it up.
