It's Sunday already! So this week... pushed still MORE snow around. Holy moly! There can't BE anymore snow, can there? We set a new record for snowfall in February, and since it didn't actually snow on Friday, the extra Leap Day wasn't a factor. Since I can't pile it any higher without a front end loader, I've resorted to shortening the end of the driveway and have created a cove to park the truck in. Soon, soon... it'll be spring here in a few weeks, and then it'll get hot and humid. I'd still rather have 3 1/2 feet of snow than the month of July.

Quilting: I finished Round Four of the Nesting Robin and jumped right into Round Final, I mean Five. I'm not thrilled with it (imagine evergreen trees stretching behind each corner, with a jingle bell in the center where they meet. I think it needs more, but

I want to get this much done, and get it bound. I can add more stitching later if I think it needs it. That's the plan for this week. "Finish" it!

I have all the components including (gasp) borders cut for Phillip's quilt. There's a bunch of strips hanging over the basement stairs railing, and I'm not always the best at choosing the one I want, so I label things. Usually it's a pinned on post-it, but this time I happened to have my
Clover iron-off white marking pen handy.

A post-it on its own will fall off, a pin's gonna scratch somebody, but this pen's not going anywhere until I'm ready for it to disappear. And then it does! I'll start assembly on this this afternoon, I think.
"
Saraswati" has arrived at the quilter's. As I suspected, Margaret's running a bit behind, but says the quilt will be done and back by May 1. Plenty of time to have the binding on before Christmas. ;o)
***Update update***

Shame Phillip's not a baby. I could sew these strips together and call it a day. I'm liking this, looks like a super pixelated chunk of
Waterlilies, Green Reflection. But think I'll like it even better with the indigo. Watch and see.

No comment on the snow, unless you add a picture???? *smile*
