Tired Saturday

It's finally the end of a spectacularly busy week. It'd be easier to count the parts of me that don't hurt. Feet, ow. Back, Butt. Ugh. Neck, shoulders, arms? You get the idea.

The Tag sale is over (HUGE success) and so too the Children's fair (likewise successful.) I was stationed at the bake table and we easily cleared $200 in cookies and cupcakes, 50¢ at a time. I noticed 2 smiling boys with my cakes. Mine, out of the 27(!) cakes to choose from. Yeah!

We were home by 2:30 and found the big guys out in the field clearing brush. Ugh, too much effort. I came in, pulled the pizza dough I made this morning out of the fridge to rise, changed the sheets, chased the vacuum around upstairs, cleaned out the A/C unit since it will get hot eventually. I couldn't stay inside, though, it was just too nice out. I hauled the lumber I got on Thursday over to the field, found my corners, a screwdriver, and my mallet and set to work. An hour and a half later, one raised bed is in place, the grass covered by 3 or four layers of wet newspaper. The second bed is kinda/sorta in place, but not screwed together, and I ran out of paper. Maybe I oughta pick up the Sunday NY Times. ;o) In any case, THIS is my plan for tomorrow. Well, part of tomorrow, anyway.
