The Week that was

This picture comprises the sum total of what I managed needle-wise this week. The binding down one side (and just around the corner) of Alana's quilt, and about 8 inches of knitting. Nice colour, huh? Tori wants a swing jacket.

I spent two afternoons at preschool this week, got Cute Boyfriend's "super-DUPER long, I can't even see my eyebrows!" hair cut, covered and cataloged books, read with my reluctant second-grade buddy.

I baked cookies, cakes, more cookies, cupcakes, MORE cookies, meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, and pizza. I vacuumed, mopped, changed the sheets and I think (fingers crossed) I discovered the source of the eye-watering stink in the kids' bathroom. "I dunno, I don't smell anything." (boys!)

I packed lunches, watched t-ball, served those cookies and cupcakes, filled water bottles, applied band-aids, and pulled off a hungry, very tenacious tick. I drank too much coffee, got too little sleep, ate badly, and managed to not gain a pound.

So basically, same ol', same ol'.
