Show off!

Yeah, that'd be me.

5 years ago, a group of us on the About.com quilting forum decided to have a virtual quilt show. We picked the first Saturday in June to get the quilts out and give them some air. We could show off everything we'd accomplished in the past year, we could get the old quilts out and freshen them in the sunshine. We could share and admire and maybe steal a little inspiration at the same time.

Well. Next Saturday is the first Saturday in June, and time for the 5th Annual International Airing of the Quilts. I've got those two quilts out there because they both needed a wash. Tori took her Jewel Box quilt camping last weekend, and Saraswati needed it's trial by washer. It lived! Will you play along? This is your chance to show off what you've been up to and to give your quilts a little fresh air. Hang your beauties outside for an hour or two to air, snap a pic and email it to me at airingofthequilts@yahoo.com. Beginning June 7th, I'll post them in a new Webshots album, and we'll have our own international quilt show.
