Funny how all us quilt bloggers have been doing just about anything BUT quilting.
Today was my last free Thursday morning for a long time. Cute Boyfriend goes to preschool 2 1/2 days, and that half day is mine, all mine. Other days have other commitments, but I make a serious effort to keep those 4 hours on Thursday free to do as I please. He's done school next Wednesday.
Today I pulled weeds for an hour or so, then pulled fabrics for ta-da! the ALQS quilt I need to mail by the end of the month. Intrigued?
Paper-piecing is messy business, isn't it? See that light blue glue stick? It's Scotch 3M Repositionable glue stick - post it glue! It's perfect for lots of things. I use it to hold that #1 piece onto the paper when I start piecing. I've also used it to glue a picture to my light box (front window) so I can trace it. Comes right off, leaves no mess. And it's washable and acid free, so it won't hurt the fabric.
No sneak peek of the work in progress. This weekend, I promise.

Chuckle. Yeah. It reminds me of a quote from a famous author, who stated that he found it amazingly easy to not write, even though it was his job.
Thanks for the glue stick tips. (My paper piecing tip - I pay my GF to do it for me.)
