Welcome Back

3 years ago, the Grange Hall in Ferrisburgh, VT (just 3 minutes up the road) was set on fire by an arsonist. The town had just made plans to restore the old building and to move town offices there. Fundraising had begun, plans were being created. And then a local man, convinced he was being investigated and harassed by the government, began to set some fires. He burned a neighbour's hay barn, he burned his own priceless antique tractor collection, he burned the Grange Hall.

Jim was later found to be incompetent to stand trial, the community regrouped, forgave, moved on. And last Saturday, the Grange Hall reopened. It was reconstructed to look just like the old building, built on the old foundation, using many original parts, salvaged from the burned building. The open house was last Saturday.
