Ah, yes, back to school. Everyone hauled out of here at different times yesterday - the big kids didn't need to be there until 10, Daniel started kindergarten at 8. Quick good morning to Mr. B, the principal, then down to the classroom.
Within minutes he'd stowed his bag in his cubby and was up to his elbows in Lego blocks. "You can go now, mama." Yes, I guess I can.He had a great day, and assures me he "Really, really!" wants to go back today, as long as the PhysEd teacher stops calling him Simon.
I'll see if I can grab a snap of the whole crew this morning, on Day 2.

Here we go. Sooo serious looking, and it's only the first week!

Good looking crew you've got there.
The good news is that once the teacher learns Daniel's personality is different from Simon's, it'll be OK. The bad is is that he might not. Ask my HS band director what happens when the younger sibling has had enough! Well, maybe Daniel will be better behaved than my sister was...
That's a nice-looking family!
I'll be delighted when my kid gets to the "you can go now" stage. Oy.
Awwww. How cute. That's a great crew.
