Saraswati and Sea of China are going to the county fair today. Maybe Falling Down Drunk, too (I have to go back and see when I finished that.) Do I expect to win a ribbon or two? Yes, actually, though I won't be disappointed if I don't.

The majority of quilts entered in the fair are simple panels or 1 block patchwork, more often tied than quilted, most often crib sized. If there are quilts better than mine entered, I'll be thrilled to see them. I'm not entering for the prize money ($5 for a blue ribbon) nor the accompanying glory. I'm just showing off. It's true!

We'll head over to Field Days after swimming lessons, then continue to Middlebury to pick Scott up a new cell phone. If the weather cooperates, I'll do some laundry and yard work this afternoon, then head to the park for a picnic at the band concert. My days, sooooo exciting!

They are all three outrageously stunning quilts. I love Falling Down Drunk, it is so lively, but the Red One is a knockout. I am betting you will bring in three ribbons. You just show off all you want. We understand completely.
They're all beautiful, but I think Sea of China is my favorite. I'm sure the fair patrons are going to get great pleasure from seeing them.
Well, poo. They changed the rules this year to only allow one entry per category per exhibitor (so I quickly gave Tori the Drunk quilt and SHE entered it!) I had to decide between the red and the blue, and went with red.
They are all gorgeous and so different. I think they show a wonderful range of work. Great job.
