This is a tiny little town. When the summer band concerts end, the pool closes, and the creemee stand pulls the blinds for the year, you know summer is over.

The high school Homecoming "parade" just seals it.

4 floats, one for each grade, constructed Friday afternoon, and pulled by dad on the tractor, or mom's SUV on Saturday morning.

They don't even bother to stop traffic.

There will be 4 games this afternoon, all soccer (we don't have football at our school), all against the Mt. Abraham Eagles. Boys will probably lose, girls will probably win. That's the way it happens every year. Tonight's bonfire has been cancelled by the weather, but the dance is on.
