This Week

This week

Needlework
continue work on Tori's sweater
finish aprons for craft fair

work on Christmas cards - I'm not sure I need to make more
start log cabin blocks for more chicken pin cushions

This week seemed to last forever! My goal of 30 minutes sewing every day didn't really pan out, though I had several marathons to make up for the sloth of the days I didn't lift a thread. I've got 10 pairs of little log cabin blocks to assemble into pin-chickens; I want that done by Monday evening, and they spend the week communing with their last-year or maybe the year before that kin. Tuesday I'll spend some time on cards, maybe, and have Wednesday available there too. I don't know if I really *need* to make cards for the craft fair - I have a clementine crate almost full of assorted holiday and non-holiday cards as it is. If I'm itching for something, maybe I'll do some quick quilt as you go string quilt coasters. Or even easier, some of these. Or maybe none at all. Depends, I guess. On what? Dunno. Tori has made about 50 of her paper-clip angels. They cost less than a quarter, she'll sell 'em for a buck and probably sell out. I should cast on a lace scarf or something to entertain myself while I sit and yack. I have some lovely rose coloured laceweight from Teri - wonder what I could make...

Sinterklaas is Friday evening. I guess there's some cookie making to be done.
