And to all a good night. *urp*

Menu

Smoked Ham
Mashed Potatoes
Sage and Onion Dressing
Tiny New Peas
Sweet "Butt" Rolls

Boston Cream Pie
Pumpkin Dump Cake

Yes, our Christmas meal included both the words butt and dump. We're like that. In truth, everyone gets to pick something they'd like for dinner, and whether it goes or not, that's what we have. Simon loves the almost effortless pumpkin dessert and Daniel heard the term "Boston Cream Pie" earlier in the week and had to have it. I've never made it before, but it turned out pretty well, surprise surprise! Tori wanted stuffing, but Scott wanted ham, not turkey so dressing it became. And the butt rolls? I love these sweet little dinner rolls, but make them by putting two small balls of dough into muffin tins - when they rise they look like 24 little tanned butts sunbathing in the oven.

Happy Holidays to all, whatever, wherever, with whomever you're celebrating.

Sounds like a delightful meal, and polished off with those dancing gingerbread boys, yum yum.

I hope your Christmas was everything you hoped for and more.

Sounds good to me - I like that idea of everyone picking something. We sort of do that - but start with a basic menu and add on the request. Delicious.
