
So I'll fix it. I spent yesterday afternoon making 7 more Roman Stripe blocks, but since I was out of the yellow, and had nothing similarly citrus-y in the stash, I used white.

I don't like it. I tried it in several different configurations, and as much as I like those white blocks, I don't like them with the yellow.
So today I went down the road about 8 miles to the local-est local quilt shop, and picked through all their yellows. Everything was gold - it's HARD to find a clear lemon yellow! Finally, though, I did. A Michael Miller "Garden Pindot" in Banana (which appears, online anyway, to NOT be the right colour. But it is.

So tomorrow afternoon, I'll frog all the white triangles and swap in some bananas, and all will be well with the world. I mean, after tomorrow, all will be well with the world, anyway, right? ::wink::
