Done quilting?

Picture 1

Picture 2

So I got the meander quilting done before lunch, and marked what I thought I wanted to do for the border. I had a little time this afternoon before I had to walk over to the school to pick up Cute Boyfriend so I got started on that quilting too. Now I'm not sure if I want to continue, or finish here.

Picture 1, as demonstrated by the lovely and talented Paperweight, er... Beanie, is the quilt as it looks. The sharpness is w-a-y exaggerated so you can see the quilting in the border - concentric arcs opposite the appliqued arcs. The plan is for the stitching to be mirrored so that the outermost line crosses the outermost line of the arcs I've already quilted. Get that?

Picture 2 is exactly the same except the arcs and fat cat have been cropped out. I could quit here, perhaps even round the corners and be done. The quilt, if I do that, will be 33" x 33". Weird, little size, but perfectly usable for a stroller or bassinet. Yeah? No? I dunno.

I'm working tomorrow morning, and Cute Boyfriend only has a half day of school, so he'll be here helping in the afternoon. (translate: there will be no quilting tomorrow.)

I like the quilting - are you leaving those cute outer half circles on? I like them too.

Very pretty quilt.

I like the outer circles too, and the quilting that echoes back into the quilt! The large size will be nice also.
