They look so excited to be starting school. The days of summer are fast disappearing and I bet they have regrets as to what they didn't get to do before school started,like clearing the rose bed, right? Enjoy the quiet time!
Ahem. I'll have you know, Mr. Smarty-pants that I spent several hours pulling and digging and planting, on this, the first day without children hovering, and all the bed requires now is mulch. And that will be done as soon as I buy some. Tomorrow. So there.

Oh, they're all so cute. And they look happy and healthy, which is most important.
Behind the kids - that lawn looks fabulous. Normally, I wouldn't notice but it really pops out here.
