Well, where the heck did Monday go?
The vet just called and Goldie gets to extend his vacation one day. Seems he was an industrious little camper and pulled his tube overnight, despite the Elizabethan collar deterrent. Whatever. He needs 8 hours peeing without the tube, and he isn't there, so he isn't here. Tomorrow, I hope.
It's cool and and bright today; a beautiful early fall New England day. I stepped on the scale this morning, and, well, if it was warmer today would definitely be a salad day. Instead, it'll be soup and fruit for lunch. That's okay, I love soup. I'll miss the thick slab of bread and cheese, though.
Perhaps I'll spend a few hours this afternoon cutting blocks and strips for the Marilyn quilts. Maybe, hmmm, I'll put a couple blocks together. If that works out, I'll share them here Thursday. I've got to spend an hour or 2 at the elem school this evening, putting fundraiser packets together. That all consuming fun kicks off Thursday, for two weeks. Yeah!
