It's what's for dinner

Every year, I give everyone a chance to request something they really, REALLY want for Thankgiving dinner. One year Scott, smartass, said pizza, so I made him a pizza.
With that in mind, here is the menu for Thursday's dinner.

Assorted pickles and nibbley things with crackers
Roast turkey (draped in bacon for flavour and moistness)
with Bacon and onion dressing (we like bacon)
Mashed potatoes and gravy
Butternut squash (me)
Butt Rolls (Daniel)
Tiny Baby peas (Scott)

Pumpkin Dump Cake (Simon)
Cranberry Swirl Cheesecake (Tori)

Stop freaking out about the bacon - it's good and we like it, and it's not like we eat this way every day. Most of the fat drips down into the roast pan anyway, and only a couple of tablespoons of it make it into the gravy.

None of this is new to us, except the cheesecake, and I've made cheesecake before, plus it's from Martha Stewart so I'm sure it will be fabulous. And Tori's going to make it. Score! Can I find a recipe...? Click the picture to go to something similar. Can't wait!
