I know nothing of palmistry, or phrenology, astrology, numerology or a whole lot of other -ologies. But I do feel a sense of something else at work sometimes, something beyond my own will. I have a strong aversion to the organized part of organized religion; spirituality fits me much better. I wish I knew more about metaphysics, it might help explain some of those inexplicable things that happen, seemingly randomly. Things like serendipity and synchronicity, and deja vu.
All that said, something is up.
I know that there has long been negative energy associated with things "left." The French word "gauche" that has been absorbed in English as something distasteful or abnormal in literal translation means left. Even the word "left" itself has two meanings. I don't believe for a second that it's accidental, either.
Well, my poor left hand is taking a tremendous beating. I've cut the tips of every finger (my thumb is spared so far), I've got a gash that extends across my ring and middle fingers, another along the edge of my index finger. My right hand? Wound free. Something is trying to get my attention, I think, trying to tell me something. I guess I need to take a little quiet time and listen.

Oy! That sounds like my right hand. I burned the iron over an inch long on my finger. A cat chomped my wrist and I have 4 long scratches there. And I have a recovering knuckle... first I scraped it against a door, then a week later I whacked it bleeding on a faucet.
I do follow what you mean about the "negative hand" getting the worse of it. Since I'm left handed, I would consider my right hand to be the "negative" one. :)
Exactly! Maybe someone who *knows* about these things will speak up. I was helping Simon with his homework tonight and we had to copy it nto a new paper when my finger opened up and started bleeding all over it. Sheesh! Who knew dividing fractions could be so hazardous?!
And the sinister Italian word for left is "sinestra"! Makes me grateful to be a righty.
