Danger! Danger!

I just (stoopid, stoopid, stoopid!) introduced my daughter to the addicting rush of online gambling. I mean eBay. There was some discontinued fabric I wanted for Christmas cards, I found it (with more I'm not sure I want, but whatever.) The auction was scheduled to end just when I knew I'd be upstairs getting the boyfriend to bed, so I gave Tori a budget and a mission. We were halfway through "Look Out for The Big Bad Fish" when a cheer erupted from downstairs. I won! It seems another bidder was parked at her computer at the same time, and Tori's final bid, placed 4 seconds before the auction closed, beat the other's by 50¢.

thump..thump..thump..thump... "That was FUN!!! What else can I buy?!"

Lordy, I've created a monster. (Oh, and you're cnyladybug, I'm REALLY, REALLY sorry.)

"Supposedly" a 3-year old bought a car yesterday on ebay, by pushing a "buy it now" button.

I say, "Get a job", lol.

OR...a great time to practice, "look but don't touch".

Hmmm, these would have to apply to goose and gander, so forget about it!

Oh, that's just one of life's early lessons. Soon you will have to teach her about lay-away and then about 90-days-same-as-cash! Congrats.
