On the Seventh Day

On the seventh day of Christmas, my true love gave to me

Seven empty platters
Six hours of snow
Five o'clock!
Four good ideas
Three feet of knitting
Two bags of trash
and a headlamp so I can see!

These platters (and more) are empty now, but will be filled soon enough. Our traditional New Years Eve dinner stretches on all night with an finger food buffet - Potato skins, egg rolls, little pizza bagels, cold cuts, cheese, pickles, olives, crackers, grapes, celery, carrots, you name it (and the kids like it) it's probably been on this buffet once or twice. Yum! New for this year, chicken fries (like Burger King?) and General Tso chicken.

We've got both Pirates of the Carribean for the DVD player, popcorn enough to bury Mr. Redenbacher. Party animals we are! Yarr!

Happy New Year (It is already January here). Sounds like you have a great celebration planned. I am also very impressed by your ability to keep up with the 12 days. Enjoy!
