On the Sixth Day

On the sixth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me

Six hours of snow!
Five o'clock
Four good ideas
Three feet of knitting
Two bags of trash
and a headlamp so I can see!

It snowed! Overnight we went from 100 shades of grey to white and green. That's the northwest corner of our house there, winter camouflage. :o)

I got Kitty's scarf blocked, and actually started quilting another section of the string quilt. Yahoo! Tomorrow, I'll finish this piece, get some more yarn on the needles, pick up some cold cuts for our traditional New Year's Eve nibbles buffet dinner, and mop and vacuum to welcome 2007 with a clean(ish) house. I know, I'm a freak. I embrace my freakitude. But first, ugh, I have to step on the scale. The Quilters Lounge weight loss challenge starts with our first weigh in tomorrow.
