I was reaching up to the top shelf in my closet yesterday to reunite a pillowcase with it's sheet set siblings when I spied these up there. I made them LONG before I had babies, and in fact forgot I even had them. Daniel never wore them (like I said, I forgot about them), Simon either. He got too big too fast. The Fair Isle was one of 6 I made one Christmas for all my nieces and nephews (with an extra for me and the baby I didn't have yet.)

Oh they are sweet. You really are an artist with the needles
You're an angel with a keyboard. Thank you. When I pulled them down, I was actually pretty impressed with them, too.
Oh dear, those are SO adorable. That's some really challenging knitting there, too. Beautiful job.
I'd be putting them on display, somehow. They're just too cute to stash away.
I see a sweatered Bichon Frise in your near future
They are gorgeous!!!!!!! Save them for the grands.
What sweet little things they are. Save them for your grandchildren.
So you're saving them for grandchildren, right? They are beautiful!!!
Those are the dearest little sweaters. Is this a sign?
Oh, my, Dorothy. Those are beautiful--and I thought you were just a great quilt and scarf maker (and embroiderer ... and cook ...). Yep, those are treasures for grandchildren for sure.
They are so cute! It's a shame you forgot about them. I made a little Aran sweater for my son when he was about 1, but never got around to making anything else.
Thanks everyone. Pigley, no dog. And Christine, I cannot stress NO enough. No sign, no babies, no thank you.
O. M. G. !!! You forgot about them? What a pity. They are precious. Adorable with a capital "A". So, maybe one of us will remind you in 20 years when you are expecting your first grand! ((hugs))
How beautiful!! I wish I could knit. I have tried, but just can't seem to get it....

ps Dorothy, the deleted comment was mine, I did a duplicate post boo-boo. Just so you know what happened, cuz I would be paranoid, wondering "what was that about?" if I saw that on my blog comments... sorry bout that, chief.
