$#!*

(feel free to supply your favourite four letter curse)

I'm sewing along happily last night, binding is one of my favourite steps in creating a quilt, and *ahem* I'm pretty darn good at it too. The three corners I've done are perfect beautiful mitres, and my stitches are small, straight and tight. The little quilt for Alexis' swap is nearing completion - a side and a half to go, it's really quite pretty, if I do say so myself. Hold on, what's this? A seam, on the outside?! No, that black on red stripe/paisley is the right side of the print which means, oh god... it's not the seam that's wrong, it's every-freaking-thing else.

Oh, no - you're allowed to swear at this one! Just when you thought you were almost done. Now I'll be one of those annoyingly upbeat people and say - it could have been worse - it could have been a king or queen size.

Oh, NOOOOOO! Especially when you're coming down the home stretch! I feel your pain.

Oh that's a real b****. There's nothing gonna be fun about fixing that...

(Dare I say) Send it as is. Your partner/friend will LOVE it's uniqueness. The adorable little geese and red paisley fabric , coupled with a little booboo make it a one-of-a-kind TREASURE. Who won't smile when viewing it? Send it. Alexis
