So I went to the Children's Fair on Saturday, ya know, just to say hi, let Daniel play with some old school friends... check out the Silent Auction. I bid on a few things, but was *gasp* scandalized to see that my donated quilt was generating FAR less attention than it deserved. ;o) So, seeing as how I was an anonymous bidder (just numbers, no details) I, heh, bid it up a little. Just a little. To $27, waaaaaaay below what it's worth. See where this is going?
Look what's back.
And all the perennials that I *really* wanted? Nope. Not a one. Serves me right, I guess. So... anyone have need of a sweet little baby quilt? It's going cheap. I'll even change out the label.

Wait a minute. No one outbid your $27 for that quilt? Please come to Southern California and try again. Here's why...
Several years ago, I crocheted two super-easy afghans in hideously colored acrylic yarn. They were supposed to be for the dog, but I donated them to the church instead. Those awful things sold for forty bucks apiece!
I think your lovely quilt just needs a different audience.
Or, perhaps you and your quilt were not meant to be parted?
I am so glad you were there to rescue your quilt!
$27 doesn't even cover the cost of materials, much less the time, love and skill you put into it.
Oh. my. goodness. Guess you two are meant to be together...
It is a beautiful quilt...
