I think I shouldn't try to convince myself it is at all possible for me to quilt more than one top in a week. So last week it was Happy Happy Happy (needs a label) and this week it will be the string quilt. It's been cold here in the evenings - a nice sized flannel backed quilt for the couch sounds just about perfect.
This little quilt is 40is by 56ish - big for a baby. Daniel gave it a test drive and assures me it will be good until baby turns 8. Whew! That's miles away! I was thinking the label would wait until after his debut sometime in March, but I think maybe I'll do it now so babe can have it when he arrives. It'll still be cold in Ontario in March. Not like he won't have other blankets and warm clothes, but...

This quilt is all from stash. I didn't have to buy batting, or binding, or anything. The binding is a black and white check that I used for the sashing on
It's What's Inside that Counts. The Silent Auction quilt will be likewise - I'll share some progress on that tomorrow but for a sneak preview, I've now got almost enough little crazies for a 3 x 4 layout.

And in between task sewing, I've been spending a little time with Forever. It's been a while since we visited. Let's peek, shall we? Oooh, almost 50 x 50, which is 1/4 of the way to the original plan of 100 inches square. Scott's making noises, though, about a flat panel tv for the same wall space that this was destined, so maybe I'll change the plan. In the meantime, though, I'll just keep plugging along. Cute Boyfriend says it looks like Legos. Yeah, I think he's on to something. Easier on your bare feet, though.
